To begin, EasyPDF™ digital forms use/return to the good ole days of the perpetual software license model as opposed to resorting to SaaS Cloud-based subscription software like the majority of software vendors choose today to store software/data on Cloud-based servers for everyone to view/share. In short, our contention is that this IS Essentially A Rip-Off and a Travesty disliked by many who prefer total privacy, control, security, and 24/7 round-the-clock access to their own program apps and data rather than store/share private information/data for everyone else on planet Earth to see up in the Cloud, where your private passwords and related info are essentially stored on some server located outside the USA in China, Russia, India, or Pakistan. In reality, it appears a SaaS subscription was intentionally designed to be a Cash Cow for greedy money hungry software companies to extort money from unsuspecting customers for doing virtually nothing in return other than bilking bank accounts over and over again for virtually the same software. Seriously, do you actually believe for one minute consumers came up with this elaborate scheme of recurring fees because they truly wanted to pay for the same software over and over again for business/personal use. In all due respect, I think NOT! In fact, all one has to do is simply take some time to navigate the internet to read the number of glaring complaints received from unsatisfied SaaS customers regarding false ads/promotions (think Free software trials that require a credit card on-hold, really?) under performance, poor customer service not to mention having to upload and store sensitive documents in the cloud that incidentally requires a full time internet connection and I believe you get the picture. In short, for many it's just not worth it not to mention how quickly big corporations like MS and Adobe who were among the first to jump ship and forget about their prior/longtime customers responsible for their huge success helping to amass a fortune over the years purchasing software based perpetual licenses before transitioning to SaaS Cloud-based software literally leaving their past loyal customers up a creek without a paddle surrendering to recurring never-ending SaaS payments. Truth be told, you've got to be kidding me!

For those unfamiliar, a perpetual license to an EasyPDF™ digital form provides a licensed copy to use the form with all its features for a one time payment as long as the end user continues to use the form in strict compliance with our End User Licence Agreement (EULA). In keeping with the perpetual license software model of old, the only exception regarding the onetime payment over the life of the software product, in this case an EaspPDF™ form, would be if the digital form were to undergo a major overall/renovation of the form, an unlikely scenario for a digital form compared to a software program application such as MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, etc., in which event an end user would normally be required to purchase a perpetual license for the new software product. In contrast, a digital form regardless of format, isn't normally considered to be a full blown software program like MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, that are in essence program applications often used to create digital forms such as what we offer. As such, a perpetual license for a digital form would normally entitle the end user to receive free minor updates/changes characteristic of additional form features or minor tweaks designed to improve an existing digital form and as such not incur a fee. Hence, a perpetual license for an EasyPDF™ form will in all likelihood be the first and last perpetual license required for an EasyPDF™ form for which it was purchased in the past.
